Varkala
Beach is very near the capital of Kerala,
Thiruvananthapuram. The sunset in the beach
is a beautiful sight. The Varkala beach
has beautiful sands which are well maintained.
A passerby to this region is bound to visit
the Varkala beach. The hills in Varkala
is said to have a number of streams which
are said o have medicinal properties. The
beach is a good enough attraction to the
place. The other main attraction of Varkala
is the famous Janardhana Temple on the hill.
The main deities are Ayyapan and Hanuman.
The temple however does not permit non Hindus
for worship inside the sanctum.
