
The
Nagar Hole National Park is a famous national
park located in Karnataka. This park holds
a lot of animals, both common and rare species.
Some of the common animals that can be seen
here are tiger, leopard, gaur, dhole elephant.
Deer, wild boar, mongoose, otter and so
on. There are a lot of swamps in the vast
expanse of the National park which facilitate
the growth of grass and other vegetation
throughout the year. This in turn, facilitates
the existence of a huge number of animals.
There are a huge number of natural streams
here with clear water which takes care of
the water needs of the species here. The
Nagar Hole National Park has been renamed
after the former Prime Minister of India
as the Rajiv Gandhi National Park.
