Mysore is a famous city located vey near the famous IT city of Bangalore. Mysore is synonymous with the Mysore Palace which is a mark of the royalty of the Wodeyars who treated Mysore as their capital. The Mysore Palace is fascinating to say the least. It is built in the Indo Saracenic style. The grandeur of Mysore palace can be seen on the domes, turrets and arches. The cravings and sculptures in the palace is magnificent. The throne of the Wodeyars which is embellished with a lot of precious articles is the highlight of the Mysore palace. This place is fully lit up on weekends and Public Holidays.
