Like
the other South Indian states, Karnataka
too has its share of festivals. Among the
festivals of Karnataka, those like Deepawali
are celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm
and the city is lit up with illumination
of public places which is a great tourist
attraction. The likes of Mysore palace is
a magnificent spectacle during the illumination.
Karnataka festivals are mainly religious
