One
of the country’s best known national
parks is the Bandipur national park which
is located in the Mysore- Ooty highway.
This wildlife sanctuary falls in the state
of Karnataka. This national park lies alongside
the states of Kerala and Tamilnadu. The
Bandipur National Park has acres and acres
of land with vegetation that supports a
variety of animal species. Its significance
is that it is India’s first Tiger
Reserves. Some very rare species of animals
and plants can also be found here. The Bandipur
National Park is a favorite destination
for wildlife tourists and attracts many
local and foreign tourists.
